Entrance fees and overnight stay fees on the bays of Cat Ba Archipelago
Implement Resolution No. 47/2025/NQ-HĐND dated December 10,
2025, of the People's Council of Hai Phong City and Official Dispatch No.
2811/UBND-VHXH of the Cát Hải Special Zone People's Committee regarding the
implementation of the resolution on the fee levels, collection, payment,
management, and use of fees for sightseeing and historical site visits in Hai
Phong City;
The Management Board of the bays in Cát Bà Archipelago
announces:
The implementation of the entrance and overnight stay fee levels
in the bays of Cát Bà Archipelago according to Resolution No. 47/2025/NQ-HĐND
dated December 10, 2025, of the Hai Phong City People's Council, as follows:
Fee levels

* Free admission subjects
-1. Free admission for the
following cases:
a) Tour groups consisting
of delegates and guests of the city; experts researching scenic spots and
historical sites (with a document or introduction letter from the agency or
organization);
b) Free admission for
people with severe disabilities as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 11 of Decree
No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012, of the Government detailing and guiding
the implementation of certain articles of the Law on People with Disabilities;
c) Passengers traveling
for purposes other than sightseeing or tourism on inland waterway transport
routes;
d) Children under 6 years
old;
đ) Students of
elementary, middle, and high schools in Hai Phong city participating in annual
extracurricular visits organized by the school and registered with the
management unit of scenic spots and historical sites.
2. A 50% reduction in
admission fees for the following cases:
a) Individuals eligible
for cultural enjoyment policies as specified in Article 2 of Decision No.
170/2003/QD-TTg dated August 14, 2003, by the Prime Minister regarding
"Cultural Enjoyment Incentive Policies";
b) Severely disabled
individuals as defined in Clause 2 of Article 11 of Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP;
c) Elderly individuals as
specified in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly (Vietnamese citizens aged 60
and above);
d) Poor households
(confirmed by local authorities), ethnic minorities in communes with
particularly difficult socio-economic conditions;
đ) University, college,
vocational, and professional school students in Hai Phong city participating in
annual field trips organized by their schools, with registration with the
agencies managing scenic spots and historical sites;
e) In the case where
a visitor qualifies for two or more preferential cases under this clause, they
are only entitled to a 50% discount on the entrance fee to scenic spots and
historical sites.
3. Reduced admission fee for: children aged 6 and above
(details in the fee schedule above).
